The Club was formed in early 2004 as a result of numerous requests by Brethren who had taken part in our first two Masonic Classic Car Runs in the summers of 2002 and 2003. The initial run was organised as a ‘one-off’ to help celebrate ‘Freemasonry in the Community’ week and to raise money for charity, but most of the entrants asked if we could make it an annual event, and thus the foundations were laid for the formation of the club.
The main purpose of the Club is for Freemasons to share their interest in classic vehicles, including cars, motor cycles, commercial vehicles, buses, etc. The benefits of Club membership include:

  • Discounted tickets to major classic vehicle events
  • A Masonic Classic Vehicle Club stand at major events (thus expanding ‘Freemasonry in the Community’ ideals)
  • A database of owners for each Province to use (subject to the Data Protection Act) in producing displays at Festivals
  • Discounted Classic Vehicle insurance
  • Quarterly newsletters
  • A club website
